Loss of a loved one  or experiencing a serious injury is never easy but the callous circumstances of a hit-and-run can make matters even worse.  Learning that someone has hit and killed or seriously injured your loved one and left them alone on the road is devastating news. In disbelief, the first question that comes to mind is "what kind of person would do this?". The sad news is, it's not an uncommon occurrence.  On average, hit-and-run drivers kills 6 people each day in the U.S. The numbers of hit-and-run fatalities are trending upwards, and California is leading the way.

Stop HARD is committed to raising awareness about this heartbreaking crime and providing support to hit-and-run victims and their families.  We'd like to hear from you!
