We are the family of Jamari Julian Moore, a 15-year-old hit-and-run victim, killed August 17, 2017, while riding his bicycle in Sacramento California. The driver who killed Jamari fled the scene and conspired with an accomplice to cover up his crime. By running away and delaying arrest, the hit-and-run driver was able to avoid DUI testing and the possibility of enhanced criminal charges.
This devastating loss rocked our foundation, but amid our grief we became aware of an alarming hit-and-run epidemic affecting families just like ours. We have decided to do something about it!
